The festival promisses to be an adventure packed weekend with surf lessons, pilates & indian head message workshop, kite surfing, eco walks, beach vollyball, a barbecue, and much more! DAYTRIPPER Music Festival Waterford
June 28th - 30th 2013
DAYTRIPPER is a new 3 day music festival for Waterford, taking place at Bolton Street in the historic Viking Triangle from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th June. Live performances on Friday are Imelda May, Alabama 3, Jack L, Jerry Fish, and Propeller Palms. The legendary Madness will perform on the Friday with Special Guests and on Sunday The Coronas, Gavin James, Key West, and Solar Taxi along with a Special Guest will be performing.
Spraoi Street Festival, Waterford

This festival is an annual riot of colour, energy and excitement with an atmosphere that is unique among Irish festivals. The new parade route will circle the Peoples Park via Water St., the Waterside, Catherine St., The Mall, Lombard St. and Park Road. The parade is conceived, designed and constructed in-house under the direction of Spraoi's Artistic Directors. Its a fabulous spectacle. Special effects, lighting, live music with original soundtracks, puppetry, sumptous costumes and elaborate floats all come together to create a unique experience. Attracting over 50,000 people along the route on a vast scale, a vivid, vibrant and unforgettable experience for performer and spectator alike.
Summer Racing in Tramore

The August Festival promises to be the highlight of the summer season in Waterford when over Four days of sponsored races, fashion, and serious socialising make it a time when many Waterford emigrants make their annual pilgrimage home to enjoy the festival atmosphere that is around the town as over 25,000 are expected to attend the festival.
Bluegrass Festival, Dunmore East Co. Waterford

Ireland's biggest free Bluegrass Festival takes place throughout the village of Dunmore East with groups from the US and the UK as well as plenty of Irish performers. The bands will be playing over 50 gigs in 6 indoor and outdoor venues throughout the town. Some of the venues have plenty of other amenities so you can truly get in the mood for the event.
The Sean Kelly Tour

Sean Kelly was one of the finest cyclists that Europe has ever seen and it was in the beautiful County Waterford in the South East of Ireland that he learned that craft. In paying tribute to the name of Sean Kelly, County Waterford hold a yearly cycle tour of the hills and valleys where Kelly's bike once flashed over the cobbles.

sprOg Festival, Waterford

This is a festival for all the little sprogs, kids under the age of 8, so that the children can be the centre of attention before the Spraoi festival. There will be loads of entertainment specifically targeted for the over 5s and under 8s but you can be sure they will have something for everyone else as well. There are 2 shows a day, including workshops and exhibitions so you can pick and choose your favourite.

1848 Tricolour Celebration

The 1848 Tricolour Celebration marks the conception and unveiling of the Irish Tricolour Flag by Thomas Francis Meagher in 1848 at 33 The Mall, Waterford City. The programme of events gives Irish people everywhere a platform to celebrate lasting peace on this island, captured beautifully in the colours of An Bhratach Naisinta our national flag.
