1848 Tricolour Celebration
March 6th - 8th 2015The 1848 Tricolour Celebration marks the conception and unveiling of the Irish Tricolour Flag by Thomas Francis Meagher in 1848 at 33 The Mall, Waterford City. The programme of events gives Irish people everywhere a platform to celebrate lasting peace on this island, captured beautifully in the colours of An Bhratach Naisinta our national flag.

St. Patrick's Day
March 17th 2015Join us in our local St. Patrick's Day celebrations. This family-focused event should not be missed! With a small parade in Tramore and a bigger parade in Waterford City - you will not be left short of entertainment on St. Patrick's Day! The Parade in Tramore starts at 3pm outside the Catholic Church Car Park, down Main Street, passing The Grand Hotel, down Gallweys Hill, and finishing outside The Majestic Hotel.
Tramore Ska Fest
April 3rd - 5th 2015Tramore Ska & Reggae festival announce an exclusive Irish show with UK Ska legends The Selecter as this year's headline act. You'll be able to hear their stone cold amazing debut album "Too Much pressure" in its entirety and many more ska classics! Mixing punk, ska and reggae "Too Much Pressure" contains the irresistible hits "On My Radio", "Three Minute Hero" and "Missing Words".It successfully reflected the social and political issues of the early Thatcher years in Britain and gave a voice to disaffected youth across the racial divide. 2014 was The Selecters 35th Anniversary catch one of the most visceral and important ska acts ever, featuring the female icon of the 2-tone era Pauline Black and Arthur Gaps Hendrickson. The dynamic and impeccable duo take centre stage in what is arguably the bands best line-up since the original one.

Summer Racing in Tramore
August 13th - 16th 2015The August Festival promises to be the highlight of the summer season in Waterford when over four days of sponsored races, fashion, and serious socialising make it a time when many Waterford emigrants make their annual pilgrimage home to enjoy the festival atmosphere that is around the town as over 25,000 are expected to attend the festival.
Spraoi Street Festival, Waterford
July 31st - August 2nd 2015This festival is an annual riot of colour, energy and excitement with an atmosphere that is unique among Irish festivals. The new parade route will circle the Peoples Park via Water St., the Waterside, Catherine St., The Mall, Lombard St. and Park Road. The parade is conceived, designed and constructed in-house under the direction of Spraoi's Artistic Directors. Its a fabulous spectacle. Special effects, lighting, live music with original soundtracks, puppetry, sumptous costumes and elaborate floats all come together to create a unique experience. Attracting over 50,000 people along the route on a vast scale, a vivid, vibrant and unforgettable experience for performer and spectator alike.
Bluegrass Festival, Dunmore East Co. Waterford
August 27th - 30th 2015Ireland's biggest free Bluegrass Festival takes place throughout the village of Dunmore East with groups from the US and the UK as well as plenty of Irish performers. The bands will be playing over 50 gigs in 6 indoor and outdoor venues throughout the town. Some of the venues have plenty of other amenities so you can truly get in the mood for the event.
sprOg Festival, Waterford
Dates for 2015 To Be ConfirmedThis is a festival for all the little sprogs, kids under the age of 8, so that the children can be the centre of attention before the Spraoi festival. There will be loads of entertainment specifically targeted for the over 5s and under 8s but you can be sure they will have something for everyone else as well. There are 2 shows a day, including workshops and exhibitions so you can pick and choose your favourite.

Oct 8th 2015Tramore Supporters Club Day features seven exciting National Hunt races and live music after racing ensures great craic at the track for all the supporters club members that have free admission that day. Enjoy the Craic at the Track!

Tramore Hill Challenge
Dates for 2015 To Be ConfirmedThe Tramore Hill Challenge is a one of a kind cycle event in Ireland that takes place on the steep hill of Tramores Strand Street and Main street from 11am - 3pm. The Tramore Hill Challenge will test riders skills when they battle with the legendary steep hill of Tramores Upper Strand Street and Main Street. It is not just the elite cyclist being targeted; this is an event for all the family: distances will vary per age group and all the kids under 12 will receive a certificate of completion. Adults will test each other up the whole length of Upper Strand Street & Main street to win the coveted King and Queen of the Hill.
